Our Volunteers are the Best!

The New Jersey Marathon Festival could not take place without our volunteers!  We have over 1,000 of the most wonderful folks, of all ages, helping us at:  Race Registration, the Runner's Expo, the Start/Finish Line Area, and on the Course.

They are out there handing out water and other refreshments to the athletes, answering questions from spectators and the athletes, pointing everyone in the right direction, taking care of finish line bags for runners, providing a helping hand to the athletes after they finish (if needed), handing out bagels and oranges, finisher's medals, hats, etc., and most of all, cheering the athletes on every step of the way!!!

All Volunteers will receive a classy volunteer t-shirt as well as the thanks of thousands of athletes and spectators.

And perhaps more importantly, you will experience a sense of great satisfaction knowing that you helped make this "weekend for the kids" a smashing success!

The NJ Marathon Team especially needs volunteers for the Course Management Team.  Course Management involves directing participants during the races at intersections, turning points, etc.  If you are interested, please send an email message to the Course Management Coordinator.
