The New Jersey Marathon Festival at the Shore has teamed up with ActiveTrainer to create marathon and half marathon training programs that are a balance of aerobic, anaerobic and cross-training workouts.
The plans are designed for athletes of ALL levels, from the first-timer all the way up to the most experienced athlete.

In conjunction with Personal Best Nutrition, Runner’s High is proud to present our 2013 Long Branch Half Marathon Training Program!
Runner’s High Triathlon and Running Coach Brian Shea will kick off the 12-week program on February 11th!! Runner’s High and Coach Brian will lead and coach you up until race day on May 5th. This is not a cookie cutter program!! Coach Brian will assess each individual’s goals and construct a training program based off your level of experience.
The Long Branch 1/2 Marathon Training Program is designed for the Beginner & Intermediate runner, who is looking to train in a group environment to prep for their first 1/2 marathon or looking to improve their time.

Garden State Track Club
The Garden State Track Club has partnered with the New Jersey Marathon this year to coach and support runners through their 13.1 or 26.2 mile experience. Our training program, "Reach the Beach!", tailors a twelve week plan to every runner, taking into account your goals, running history, and personal schedule. This is especially helpful to beginning and intermediate runners! Your experience with "Reach the Beach!" will include a personalized twelve week plan, a technical GSTC training shirt, regular feedback and discussion with our coaching staff, lots of opportunities to train with others and make new friends, and access GSTC resources only available to our club members!
