Important Things for All Sunday Participants to Know

Registration Alert for Athletes who use Wheelchairs

As in all of our previous events, The New Jersey Marathon Festival welcomes athletes who use wheelchairs to participate. For 2012, we will be able to allow for either pushrim or handcrank wheelchair athletes to both COMPETE (race) and COMPLETE these events. Our Full Marathon will be a single loop course with the last half seperate from the Half Marathon course, so pushrim and handcrank wheelchair athletes will be allowed to race. Pushrim and handcrank wheelchair athletes will also be allowed to COMPETE (race) in the Half Marathon this year.

If you are a wheelchair athlete, before you register, we encourage you to contact the Race Director, Joe Gigas, either by phone at : 732-870-0090, or by email at: racedirector@njmarathon.org to answer any questions regarding course suitability.

Registration - You must have registered prior to race day for the Marathon, Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay. We expect that on-line and mail-in registration will be closed for these races on or before mid-April. Register Now!  While In-Person Registration will be available during the Expo, it will require an additional fee and will be limited in number.  Registration at the Expo can only be done by the participant being physically present.

Race Packet Pickup - All Race Packets are available for pickup on both Friday and Saturday, at the Expo.

Please Note: While race packets must be picked up during the Expo hours, they do not need to be picked up by the registrant. Here's the process: the person picking up the race packet for another will be asked for identification and to fill out a short form, which we will keep on file. That's it! This simple process has worked well for many years and we will continue it until further notice.

Special Sunday Race Packet Pick-up Service - Please visit our Expo page for details of of this service provided by The New Jersey Road Runner Youth Foundation and Kick Cancer Overboard.

Please Note: This special service offered by these charities is only available via a donation and prior registration with the charities.  Please visit our Expo page for details about this service and a link to the service's registration page.
