Update #5 (8 weeks to the NJM / LBH Weekend)
ChampionChip Timing & Scoring:
We are very proud to be using what is considered the best timing & scoring system in the running business. Below is a message from the company:
CompuScore Computer ServicesInstructions for Using the ChampionChip 1579 Springfield Avenue New Providence, NJ 07974
The NJM/LBH/NJM Relay will be timed and scored using computer chip technology.
Securely attach your computer chip to your shoe using the supplied self locking ties or to your ankle using the Velcro strap (Relay only). This allows for quicker removal of the chip.
Your time will be recorded as you cross the finish line mats. The chip must pass within one foot of the finish line mats to assure activation.
You MUST return the chip to Finish Line volunteers or be charged $35.00. The rental chip issued to you is assigned for this event only.
Do not mix your chip with anyone else's chip, especially family members No Chip --- No Time --- No Award!!!
If you don't finish your event, please return the chip in a PADDED Envelope to CompuScore.
