Update #1 (12 weeks to the NJM / LBH Weekend)

With twelve weeks remaining before the start of our NJM Weekend I will be sending all current registered participants a series of brief updates that I hope will make your participation in our 12th annual event more enjoyable…and less stressful!

We are currently 300% ahead of last year's record registration and do expect to close registration for all events by late March or early April by reaching our self-imposed limit of 8,500. Please pass the word to your running friends!

Registration Update:

Official Hours:

Friday, May 2, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Saturday, May 3, 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

For the first time we will have a "Big-Top" tent for both registration (Bib #,/timing chip/Tee pick-up) and our Health & Fitness Expo located next to the Start/Finish line on the oceanfront Promenade in Long Branch. The tent is located just north of our host hotel, Ocean Place Resort & Spa, One Ocean Blvd., Long Branch 07740.

Look for easy street parking in the adjoining town house complex, in front of the Ocean Place Resort Hotel or at Pier Village (just south and a short walk).

Expo Vendors:

A nearly complete listing of vendors can be found on our site at: http://www.njmarathon.org/Expo/expomain.htm. More vendors to help you with any final needs will be onboard prior to NJM Weekend.

Official NJM/LBH Merchandise will be available Friday thru Sunday. Please cash or checks only!

Course Update:

We have a newly USAT&F certified course that will have fewer turns compared to last year and therefore, I believe, even more enjoyable. A special Thanks to the City of Long Branch and especially to the LBPD for working so closely with our NJM Staff!
